Creating an HTML website must be done in a text editor like Notepad. Hyper Text Markup Language is then interpreted by your browser. Tags, code in between < > (angle brackets), make up the Markup in HTML.

Remember that each opening tag, always done in lowercase, needs an closing tag. For insance, <html> needs the tag, </html> to complete the action.

We will be covering HTML tutorials on W3Schools up until forms. Please pay attention to Home, Introduction, Editors, Basics, Elements, Attributes, Headings, Paragraphs, Links, Images, Tables, Lists, Forms, Layout and Blocks. Go through these, and you've mastered HTML for our course!

Practice with all of the tags listed in the above tutorials by placing them in a website of your own.
